A Spoonful of Information

Welcome. My name is Christy and I am the owner and cake artist of Krispy Kakes. We are a home based bakery located in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. We proudly serve Cabarrus County and the surrounding areas.

Baking has always been in my genes, originating from my mom. You could always say she was part of my inspiration, as I grew up smelling yummy cakes in her kitchen. I went to college and received a degree in Interior Design. I have a love for art and have always had the ability to draw and paint. However, my artistic and design skills later combined with my love for baking, and the many possibilities of creating a cake. I made a few cakes for friends and family, and was then told that I should start a business doing what I am passionate about. I belive that the creation of a cake is an art of it's own.

That is when Krispy Kakes was created. From the help of faithful friends, and the support of my family, Krispy Kakes is now open for business!
